To become a Magistrate, Court Registrar, Customs Officer, or Administrator in Cameroon, one will have to enrol in the Ecole Nationale d’administration Et De Magistrature (ENAM) (in English The National School for Administration and Magistracy)
Access to ENAM is via a competitive entrance examination and the school accepts only Cameroonians aged between eighteen (18) and thirty-two (32) years during the year of the launch of the examination.
The examination is also open to students from member countries of the CEMAC (Economic and Monetary Community of Central African States)
How to Become a Magistrate or Administrator in Cameroon?
To become a magistrate or an administrator in Cameroon, do the following:
Register or enrol for ENAM Concours, either Cycle A reserved for holders of a first Degree or Cycle B for those with the GCE Advanced Level or their equivalent.
You must write and pass the competitive exam (ENAM Concours)
Undergo training in the National School for Administration and Magistracy in Yaounde, Cameroon.
After successful completion, you can now be called a magistrate or an administrator.
